Season two of the MUFC X Peter Saville range was founded upon the New Order record “Power, Corruption & Lies”. Taking the code from the side of the LP and putting it on various adidas pieces was the link and to launch it we created a bespoke Record-Press factory in which we had the players act as they were workers in this factory. Alongside the campaign we pressed a limited number of records with one side being purely crowd sound from an iconic game & the other side being Dr John Cooper Clarke talking about Manchester, Music & Football. With Benedict’s stark clean shooting nature & Benny’s exceptionally intricate set the output was extraordinary.
