The film delves into the world of “going county” or “OT” (out of town), where children as young as six, and teenagers, are groomed by county line (the mobile phone line used to take drug orders) gangs to carry and sell drugs, move far away from their homes, skip school, sleep in out-of-town “trap houses” and drug dens, keep secrets from their loved ones, and become trapped in a hopeless situation.

This project came up when I was at FAN studios & it was my first opportunity to be able to work on a full length feature film. An independently funded film, small cast & crew, the shoot lasted 17 days of which every second mattered. There was nothing about what your role was, we were a community all spinning multiple plates at once. As the Unit Production Manager I was closest to this project and was able to see the project to completion.
